Actress Amanda Bynes is expected to be released from a rehabilitation center by December and will be home in time for Christmas.
The "Sydney White" star was sent to rehab earlier this year after showing extreme psychotic behavior in July. Amanda was formally diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder recently. Her parents had already suspected she had mental disorder before her diagnosis at the UCLA Medical Center, Radar Online reported.
Amanda was said to have shown marked improvement in her behavior and responded well to medication and counseling that was provided to her at the Canyon rehab facility in Malibu, California, where she moved to in September after transferring from the UCLA. Doctors at the center confirmed that the treatment has "sufficiently stabilized" her.
